My name is Alex. I currently live in Seoul with my wife. We both teach English as a foreign language at an all girls school on the edge (and I’m talking the last stop) of Northeast Seoul. My wife, Erin, teaches for the high-school and I teach for the middle school. This is my first blog so I have no clue what will become of it and really only have a vague idea of what my own intentions for it are. I’m pretty sure I intend to have an organized blog with different topics. Although I’m also pretty sure I don’t intend to be attentive to such meddlesome things as developing a well-organized blog. I can’t even well-organize my own thoughts most of the time. I do promise that if you bare with me then I will most certainly waste plenty of your time with mindless prattle, and isn’t that the ultimate objective of any blog? I will post things about food, like reviews and what my wife has cooked recently that was delicious. Mainly so that she will be encouraged to cook more. If she even reads this. Considering she hates my writing, I doubt she will. If she doesn’t, then I will post scathing reviews of her cooking. If I have not posted within a week or two of posting said scathing review, please call the police and report me as murdered. Or, most likely, killed by bad banana bread. Maybe I will post a couple of recipes and I will even post a couple of things I cook (like how to cook frozen chicken nuggets in a skillet rather than in the microwave or oven). I will ramble, as I’m sure you’ve noticed, and maybe even post things I’m writing (as in my attempt at a cohesive fictional work of significant length). All, for you to love.
